It Hurts...

I know, I go like, 2 months without updating and then shazaam! I update twice in one night, but seriously, I have to share this with the world. I swear, I haven't laughed as much as I did tonight in a long, long time. I swear, I was laughing so hard it hurt.

Ok, so it starts off with the fact that my brother's prom is on Friday. My baby brother is going to his high school prom, I feel the need to have a mid-life crisis, but that's besides the point. So, as a little graduation present I bought him some toner tabs from Lush, cause he's always had problem skin and these are supposed to help with that. Anyway directions say that you're supposed to drop the tab into a bowl of very hot water, hang your head over the bowl, and cover your head with a towel. You stay there for a few minutes and let the vapors soak into your skin. While my brother had his head under the towel, this is what he decided to say: (A little back story here, one of my brother's friends has a pet Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, aptly named Bacon. She gets angry a lot, and she bites toes. My brother thinks that she is out to get him.)

David: Oh shit it burns! Of fuck you Jen! Fuck you and your family!
Jen: You do know that my family includes you, right David?
David: Fuck you and your cat! It burns!!! It's burning my nose!!!
Jen: Breathe though your mouth then.
David: Aw damn, I can taste it! It tastes awful! Aw fuck my life!! It's Bacon's fault! That pig wants me to fucking suffer! *Silence* Aw fuck my life!!!

Needless to say, I was killing myself with laughter, but then, things got better. After we finished my brother decided to get back at me. He tells me that my mom wants to talk to me, and to go see her in her room downstairs. As I am walking down the stairs, my mom bursts out of the room, and this is what happened.

Mom: Oh hell, I don't know what the hell I ate, but I fucking stink.
David: Damn mom! I wanted Jen to go down there and smell your toxic fart!
*Just then, my mom's boyfriend, Terry, comes bursting ot of the room*
Terry: Holy hell woman! I think you were peeling the paint off the walls! The cat's litter box smells better!
*Then, we hear my cat scratching at the door*
Mom: The cats wants out.
Terry: Do you freaking blame him? He's probably in the room wondering what he did to deserve punishment that bad!

A few minutes later, my brother was telling us a story about this awesome fly swatter that his friend has, it's electrified and basically kills the bugs with a shock. What happened next was what my friend TorvaBeast and I call a stereotypical man stupidity moment.

Terry: Oh we have one of those. *Pulls it out and turns it on* See? *Pretends to swat my brother*
David: Does it work?
Terry: *Grabs the electrified portion* Oh shit! Damn! What the hell! That hurt!

His fingers hurt him for a good 5 minutes after that. At this point, I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe. So finally, I go back into my room and find my cat sitting on my bed and he has got the most unloved, dejected look on his face. His expression said 'Why did she do that to me? Don't you love me' Poor sweetie. I think my mother permanently scarred him.

It was quite a hilarious night. :D

A Side of Salad

Ok, for those who don't know me well, I am a huge enthusiast for a store called Lush. It specializes in handmade and natural cosmetic and bath products. It's totally awesome, a little more expensive than some other brands, but chemical-free and good for the environment. They sell shampoo and conditioners in bars (Meaning the shampoo is SOLID. It's very cool) which saves something like 3 plastic bottles and all their bags are either recyclable or compost-able. As I said, very, very awesome.

Anyway, I was in Lush the other day, and they were having a promotion, for $15 you got to test out 7 of Lush's hair products. Which is awesome cause I've been wanting to try out some different solid shampoos, but being an unemployed student money is in short supply and all that jazz. So I got a sample of their Blonde shampoo bar, Trichomania shampoo bar (Which smells like coconut, yummy, and is apparently very moisturizing), their Jungle conditioner bar, (which is nice, but unfortunately not strong enough for all of my hair, but I have long think hair down to the base of my spine, so that may be why, it may work better for someone with less hair to deal with), a sample of hair gel called The Big Tease, a sample of liquid shampoo, called BIG (Cause it volumizes, I thought it was a clever name), and some liquid conditioner called American Dream.

Ok, enough product promotion, seriously Lush should pay me for all this publicity, but anyway.

The last product I got was a hair treatment called H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment. Don't ask about the name, apparently it's a Cantonese God of hair (Those exist? Go figure.) Anyway, this treatment has balsamic vinegar in it, cause apparently that helps moisturize hair, whatever, I'll have to wait and see. So, I was working the product into my hair and my brother comes into the bathroom and freaked out. He was all like 'It burnssssss!!!' He was walking around the house with his shirt pulled over his nose for the entire half hour that I had the stuff in my hair. Finally, I was confined to my room cause the smell started to annoy my mother. Wusses. It so wasn't that bad. So yeah, I spent half an hour locked up in my room smelling like a salad. An odd experience to be sure, but definitely an amusing one, or so I thought.

Moral of the story: If you want some time alone, make your hair smell like vinaigrette.
Cry Wolf

Ugh, you know how there are just some people who always have something wrong with them? They're either sick, or they've hurt themselves, or they've defied odds and somehow developed some random disorder, that really should have been present from like... BIRTH!

Anyway, one of my friends (And the term 'friend' is a bit of a stretch right now, but whatever) is like that. They're is always something wrong with her, like one moment she's absolutely fine, rambling on about her unhealthy obsession with the Habs and the next *POOF* she's got pig flu or something like that. From healthy to on death's door in five seconds or less! She should have her own circus sideshow, I swear.

And I know that I sometimes contradict myself, opinions change, shit happens, whatever. But she is ridiculous. She was complaining that her stomach was upset, so she wanted to leave class early and go home, cause you know, her attendance record is SOOOO stellar thus far. She was claiming that she wanted to go to a Chapters to buy some books, cause the walking would 'calm her upset stomach'. Whatever, I enjoy myself more when you are not here anyway. Then a fellow classmate who was also leaving early offered her a lift, then she claimed that it was a good thing she was getting a lift, because walking would further upset her stomach.

W
T
F
!

And it just keeps getting better folks! The other day, I decided to skip my afternoon class, despite how fascinating the world of Clipart is. And of course friend (Let's call her Betty), decides to join me. Even though, so far, she had already missed a day this week, and it was only Wednesday (Nor was she there on Thursday). So we're waiting for the metro, Betty is of course, complaining how she feels like hurling, then this brilliant gem emerges from her mouth: I think I will get some McDonald's to calm my stomach down.

Be kind, rewind. McDonald's makes her stomach 'upset' when she's (For once) feeling fine. I look right at her and tell her that that is fucking bullshit, and she just wants an excuse to get McDonald's, which she denied of course.

Dear god, if there actually is something wrong with her, no one will fucking believe her cause she's always bitching about shit, when nothing is wrong with her. If I had a dollar for every time her stomach was upset, I wouldn't need that job I'm after at Lush. I think she needs her head checked out, cause I'm sure that's where her problem is.

Anyway, I'm getting tired of writing, so I'll just say that I fucking hate people who absolutely have to be the center of attention, and if they're not, they have to shift the room's center of gravity back to them. Seriously 'Betty' the world does not revolve around you and you are in no way God's gift to the world.

On a last and quite unrelated topic, the season finale of Supernatural is next week and it looks fucking amazing!!!!! Tonight's episode was orgasmic-bliss inducing! Sam, Sam, Sam, what have you done? T_T

Oh How Badly Do People Suck?

It's been a while huh? I have an excuse I swear. I was pretty sick for a stretch there. I was hovering over the line where I feel icky, but not icky enough to know for sure if I really am sick, for a while, but that passed. My friend Mary gave me the flu bug she had a few weeks ago. Fuuuuun! In Mary's word, I was 'involved in a passionate affair with the toilet bowl'. Sounds fun huh? Oh yeah.

Anyway, people suck. They normally do, but today they really suck. See I left a comment a Nightwish video on Youtube. Nightwish kicked out their old singer a few years ago because she developed what is widely being called 'Axl Rose Syndrome', she basically cared only about the money and not about the music. Whatever, the reason, they replaced her with a new singer, whom I happen to like. I said as much, and this JerkFace replies 'Are you deaf?'.

Those who know me well can probably guess how I reacted. I freakin' tore into them. ranting about how I was A) Not deaf, and B) How I expressed my personal opinion, and therefore they had no right to get nasty, and then finally C) I called them rude and pig-headed.

To this that random *Insert bad word here* replied, as if he had said nothing wrong, that he was only asking a question, and that I was the pig-headed one.

I know, right?

So, anyway, long story short, I said you know, sorry whatever, next time just state your opinion and move along, I respect that and you are entitled to it. The *Insert an even worse bad word here* said that he was asking 'nicely' and that I was the one who acted like a pig and that he didn't really care about anything I had to say.

Dude, then why the fuck did you even bother replying to my comment????

Seriously, this is why I hate systems like the one Youtube employs. People have no respect for another person's opinion and think that they can do no wrong. As if saying something like 'I was just asking' negates anything they say. The one thing I absolutely demand is that you respect me and I will do the same for you. Not to much to ask no?

To Stairway or not to Stairway

I love music, it is something that I am very passionate about. It is also something that my ex and I did not agree on. Even with bands we both liked, we could not come to terms.

Thus I get to the subject of this post, brace yourselves folks, for I am about to committ music treason. I DO NOT think that 'Stairway to Heaven' is the geratest song ever. I do not even think it is the greatest Led Zeppelin song ever. Honestly, I prefer 'Kashmir' and 'Black Dog' over 'Stairway'. Now, 'Black Dog' is only because I have very fond childhood memories of it, but I honestly think that 'Kashmir' is a much better song. I told my ex this and his response was 'Shut you mouth heathen!', but anyway. I digress.

Twice in the span of 24 hours! I am apparantly making up for my lack of updating. Anyway, I just really wanted to post this.

You Are Honest

-_-

Geez, I am really slacking aren't I? This depressed me. Sorry all, I've been so busy reveling in my new-found being-single-again freedom that I've negelcted my LJ. My bad.

Anyway, Christmas was (Almost a month ago, but whatever) awesome. I got a purple Ipod just like I wanted! I've been dying for one because the mp3 player that I had before really was shit, and since I'm not with my ex anymore, and he was the one who gave it to me, I have no real reason to put up with the sub-standard piece of technology anymore. Yay for me! It's purple, which is awesome, but even more awesome is that it's 16GB! There's so much space! I've got over 200 songs on it and I've barely taken up 1 GB!!! I loves it! I named it Emmett, cause I like to name things that I spend a significant amount of time with. Twilight fans will know where I got Emmett. ^_^ I was originally going to be stereotypical and go with Edward, but it didn't feel right. Emmett was my favourite character, so it was a no-brainer, really.

Anyway, I went to a New Year's party this year, first one I've been to in a few years. It was a lot of fun! There was alcohol consumption, lots of food, and an epic snow fight at 2 am. It made me realize that I need to get out more often. It also made me realize what awesome friends I have. Now, Morgan and Van, I don't include you guys in this group cause I've always known that you guys are awesome. But the friends that I am talking about were actually friends of my ex first, so I wasn't really expecting to stay in touch with some of them. You know, the division of friends when a relationship breaks up and all that jazz? Anyway, all these friends were amazing, the friend hosting the party actually asked me if it was ok if she invited my ex. If it would have been too awkward for me (Cause he has a new girlfriend), she wouldn't have invited him.

I was really touched, cause all these particular friends were friends of my ex first, and then they met me through him, so it was a nice surprise. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy and loved. ^_^

So that's basically all the interesting things that happened since I last posted.

Oh and one last note, I burnt the roast that was supper tonight. My mom called me from work and told me to put it on at 2:00, and apparently, that was too early. It's still edible, just the skin is a little over-done. Go me! XDD

Wow-za!

Once again, it's been so long since I've updated! ~Le sigh~ Anyway, it's been about a month since my ex-boyfriend and I broke up and I must say, wow, I haven't felt this good about myself in months! Nearly all of the angry, sad, and generally negative feelings I've had hovering over me are gone. It's unbelievable. I sleep better, my eating habits have righted themselves and become more normal (meaning I'm not eating enough to feed a small army), and I feel fantastic. Break ups are good for the soul. Seriously. Well, only when the relationship is an unhappy one.

Anyway, I saw the 'Twilight' movie on November 20th (at a special early release time thingy, cause it was only supposed to be released on Friday) with my step-sister. That was fun, an entire theatre full of screaming pre-pubescent teenage girls, and the like, five guy who were dragged there by their girlfriends. That aside, I loved it! *Ducks the debris being thrown* I know that there are people out there who hated it and that's cool., you're free to hate it. No, it was not the book, and no, it was in no way as good as the book, cause that would be impossible. Still, it was a good movie. I enjoyed it. Move on.

The only thing that bothered me significantly, was Jasper. UGH! If he was saying lines, then he was fine, but when he was just standing there he annoyed the hell out of me! Ok, I lied, Bella's Lullaby also annoyed me. I didn't like it as much as I hoped. It should have been 'A River Flows in You' by Yiruma. XP

Anyway, that's all I have to say.

Oh and BM! if you're reading this, you, me, next weekend, Santa Claus Parade?

Gah!

Gah! It has been so long since I have updated! I have a good reason though. See, my boyfriend and I broke up almost a week ago. We've been having problems for a WHILE now, and it was time. I mean, I was upset when it happened, but now, I feel... relieved. And now I feel bad about that, cause I know that my ex is having a hard time with it. ~Sigh~ Relationships are complicated. I hope that all will work out, cause I still love him, I'm just not IN love with him anymore....... And again with the complicated.

Anyway, something to lift the mood:

Put your mp3 player on shuffle and write down the first line of the first 25 songs that play. NO SKIPPING, no matter how embarrassing they are :). See if people can guess what songs they are (and no cheating)

I did, however, have to skip a few songs 'cause some of them start off their lyrics with the song title and it would have been blatantly obvious. That and I do have a fair few instrumentals lying around.

1) Hey j-j-jaded, you got your mama's style
2) I was caught In the middle of a railroad track
3) Backstroke lover always hidin' 'neath the covers
4) Step inside, walk this way
5) In this hole that is me the dead are rolling over
6) Every time that I look in the mirror
7) Finally the hills are without eyes
8) This is me for forever
9) Your cruel device
10) Would you mind if I hurt you
11) My love is on the line
12) Gettin' born in the state of Mississippi
13) Circling your head, contemplating everything you ever said
14) I would die for you
15) Take this pink ribbon off my eyes
16) This is the greatest and best song in the world...
17) You - you got a nasty reputation
18) Wish I was too dead to cry
19) Dum, dum, dum, honey what have you done?
20) It's early morning
21) The sea's evaporated
22) Jitterbug
23) Baptized with a perfect name
24) Memories are just where you laid them
25) Watching the days slip by so fast

Ok, so I cheated a little, but it was necessary! I skipped songs where the title was in the first lyric, ones in which the first lyric was nonsense and songs where the first lyric was in a language other than English (but that was only for 2 songs).

Have fun!

Twilight

OMFGWTFBBQ/PANDA!

An amazing thing has happened. Thosw who know me well know that one of my favourite all time thing in this world is bats, which came from reading an amazing book called 'Silverwing'. I thought it was a once in a lifetime, life-altering experience, and essentially held it as my own personal bible. I had a shrine set up for it in my closet and everything. It was great. Yup, that was my way of thinking....

Until I read 'Twilight'.

'Silverwing' is no longer the greatest thing since the pocket in pita bread.

Yes, I know, I was shocked to BM, but seriously, this book 'Twilight' is beyond amazing... it's just...... *Dies*

I swear, I bought the book and I could not put them down. I finished all 4 of them, around 2400 pages total, in less than a week. When I wasn't reading them, I was thinking about reading them. I'm quite certain that it was not at all healthy.

So yeah, the Twilight series, go read them. Meanwhile, I'm off to explore Twilight fandom.

Silverwing ~ Out

Great Googa Mooga! It's been a long time since I've updated! So much has happened. ~Sigh~

See first of all, my boyfriend's sister got married. *Dances* And I was one of her bridesmaids. It was actually a really enjoyable wedding. All of the groom's family came over to Canada from Europe and just... wow. His parents did something right cause all like all 6 kids are gorgeous. I had a serious crush (Althought I don't like using the word 'crush' cause it sounds so juvenile, but whatever) on one of the groom's brothers, whom is now my boyfriend's brother-in-law..... yeah, awkward. So, yeah, anyway, we had a blast and gorgeous! That's really all the important stuff.

I also went with my boyfriend and one of my best friends to see Ryan Stiles and Greg Proops live. Don't get too excited 'Whose Line' fans, cause they were awful. The show was barely an hour long, and they sat on a couch for most of the show! I was like' I paid $50 for the tickets! Do something!' Oh man, they were truly horrible. Colin Mocherie and Brad Sherwood, whom I saw live last year, were SO much better! So yeah, Ryan and Greg live, 2/10.

And oooh! One last thing, my boyfriend's parents are going away to New Jersey for a week and that means that he and I have the whole house to ourselves!

Party on!!

Hulk Smash!

So, ya, my boyfriend, my boyfriend's sister, her fiance and myself all went to see The Incredible Hulk the other night. It was really really good. Not Ironman good, but somewhere between Ironman and Transformers good, so yeah, pretty good. ^^

There was one scene where there was a helicopter fuel tank that burst into flames and the Hulk was able to extinguish it with a single clap of his hands. It was a little farfetched, but that was the only thing.

My favourite scene **Insert SLIGHT spoilers here, STOP READING MORGAN!!! XDDD** was towards the end, the bad guy asks, very dramatically, 'Any last words?' and The Hulk responds with 'Hulk Smash!' My boyfriend freaked out, he thought it was great. I, however, thought it was hilarious, so that's the new catch-phrase of the week. It'll be like, me talking to my friends they're complaining about the awesome day they've had and I'll be like 'Hulk smash!' and they'll be like O.O?

It'll be great. ^^

Also, what was really awesome is that they had Lou Ferrigno, who played the Incredible Hulk in the tv show years ago, voice the Hulk in this movie. He also had a brief cameo as a security guard. It was awesome. Go Lou! So, yeah, keep your eyes open for him. ^^

And as if you couldn't make it any better, the character Tony Stark, from Ironman, also had a brief cameo. It made me happy. Seriously, has anyone else found Robert Downey Jr sexy since seeing that movie? I mean, he made the movie, his performance was outstanding, it was so perfect for the role, it ... just... there's no more to say. He was great, he was sexy and now I'm off to ponder said sexiness.

Hulk Smash!

News-Zilla!

So, yeah, lots of stuff has happened since my last entry. Things are better. I still miss my cat, but he is happy at my boyfriend's house, so that makes, me feel better. I got laid off from my job but I've started looking for a new one and I am hopeful.

Anyway, my boyfriend and I saw the new Indiana Jones movie opening night and may I just say WTF?????????????

I warn you now, the next bit will contain spoilers from the movie. You are warned

WTF??? There are some things in this world that should not mix. Indiana Jones and aliens are two of those things. I mean, seriously!! Aliens! Just.... no! Not supposed to happen. my life goal is now to drop-kick borh George Lucas and Steven Speilberg in the groin. It was soooooo bad!

And then there was Cate Blanchette's performance. First off, I should mention that I can't stand this woman, so I am slightly biased. But the woman cannot act! The entire movie she had the exact same expression! The flesh is being stripped from her bones and she still has the same vacant expression on. Learn to act. Kthxbai.

I mean, aliens aside, the story was actually good. I enjoyed seeing an older Harrison Ford play Indiana, I enjoyed Shia leBoeuf as his son, but ALIENS!! They ruined it all! Also the scene where Shia LeBoeuf Decides to swing from vine to vine through the jungle to catch up with the cars... Please! Some movie-goers still possess intelligent thought and realize that this is not possible. Give us some credit.

Another movie that we saw recently was Ironman. Now there was a satisfying movie. I was skeptical, and worried that this was going to be another comic-book-into-movie-fuck-up, but this was an awesome movie. I was worried about Robert Downey Jr playing Tony Stark (I think that was his name), but he was excellent, and might I say, strangely sexy. I loved it even more than Transformers, cause it had so much more to offer than 'All Spark! Must find All Spark and blow things up in process'. Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate senseless violence, and I loved Transformers, but Ironman had more of a story and for me that makes for a better movie.

Finally, the last big piece of news, I held a snake. A real live snake. Now, those who know me know that I am terrified of snakes, like run away screaming scared. But my best friend TorvaBeast, my boyfriend and I went over to Torva's boyfriend's house and he had a pet snaked named Cliff. After a minor freak out I summoned the courage and I held him. Go me! *Does a victory dance*

So yeah, productive couple of weeks for me. ^______________________^

Rock Bottom

So yeah, we've moved. And all I have to say on the subject is: I fucking hate this goddamn place! It's awful here! First of all, I must inform you all that I have moved in with my mother's boyfriend, and her boyfriend's sister and this woman is FAR from what is defined as a valuable, productive member of society. All she does all day long is sit on the couch and watch tv. I'm not exaggerating here, that is ALL she does. She takes an hour or so to cook dinner (Which is awful too), but that's about it. I just feel like yelling at her 'Get off your ass and do something worth while!!' It annoys me to no end. Given she doesn't speak any French, but she's been here for like, 5 years, you think she would have bothered to picked up some up by now. And on another note, this is Quebec, we speak French here, if you don't want to WHY ARE YOU HERE??????? I know that my French is nowhere near great, but at least I can speak some.

And on another note, my mother STILL hasn't got a job. It's been nearly been a year, and she's barely tried to find one, which is a big thing because she's the sole provider for this family. She owes me a buttload of money and she couldn't afford to pay my school fees on time this semester.

Gah! Everyone is just making me sick to my stomach. Normally when forced to co-habit with people I dislike I simply lock myself in my bedroom and only emerge for food and other biological needs, but I can't do that in this case because I don't have a room. Well, there's a room that's supposed to be mine, but it's unfinished and being used as a storage room for all their junk. Seriously, that room is not fit for human habitation. There's piles of boxes and carpet tacks sticking up from the floor. I stepped on one. It hurt.

So, while I'm here I'm forced to stay in my step-sister's room, as she's only here every other weekend. Doesn't sound too bad does it? Well, this room is packed with 2 mattresses leaning against the wall, so I can sit on my bed, or pace the 3 clear steps until I bump into a goddamn mattress. And the icing on the cake? the door doesn't even close properly! I've got absolutely no privacy.

I'm absolutely miserable, and no one gives the appearance of giving a damn, they're just all so happy with everything. It's unbelievably hard being the only unhappy one in a household. And my boyfriend isn't helping at all. He's all like 'You should do this' or 'You're not doing that the right way'. Almost every time I talk to him it 'Have you talked to them yet? Have they started on your room yet?'. News flash here, I have spoken to them about the subject, it just hasn't done any good. He tells me that I have to keep pestering them to get started, but honestly, I'm tired of being the Big Bad Bitch and being the only one with something bad to say about the situation. It's mentally exhausting, and I can't do it anymore. I know that he is worried for me, what the situation is doing to me, physically and mentally, but he doesn't realize that he's making it twice as bad. What I need him to do in a time like this is be supportive of and what I decide to do and not try dictate what I should do every time I talk to him. I don't like being with him cause I go to him to escape the situation at home, and with his incessant nagging I can't do that. He just doesn't get that he can't help me in this situation.

I miss my cat. When something bad happened before the move, I could close myself up in a dark room and hold the one being that never told me what to do, never ignored me when I was upset, and was the only one to show me unconditional love. Now he's gone, and for the first time in 12 years I have to face a bad situation without him. God I miss him so much, more than I've ever missed anything. I honestly don't know how I got by without him before. This might sound silly to some people, but they're the ones who've never had a pet they bothered to love. Animals love unconditionally, they don't verbally harass you when they think they know what's best for you, they don't ignore your pain and they are the best listeners you could ask for.

I miss you Lucky.

Thank Freaking God

I'm done school!!!! W00t! Party for me!@ *Dances*

Seriously, I thought the semester would never end. Gah! I really disliked my classes this semester, they were just so..... blah. I mean, the teachers I had were pretty awesome and one of them was REALLY hot, like drown-the-grass hot, but ugh... they were awful.

So, yeah, I'm working now, which I used to enjoy so much more than classes, but not today. I have to clean out an old office and get rid of all the old files. And getting rid of the old files means that I have to shred them all. While I normally find the shredding machine a source of much amusement, I think that standing in front of it for like 5 hours gives me brain cancer. @_@

Oh, and I actually watched the Habs game last night.... man I wish that I didn't. What a horrible game. We lost 5-1 to Boston! T_T One goal was cause of a mistake on Price's (the Habs' goalie) part. It was a pretty dumb move, I will have to admit.

But don't worry Carey, I would still sleep with you in a heart beat. ^___________^

Screencaps

So yeah, here are some screencaps of my awesome priest, the first two are from when I finally hit level 70 and got my flying mount. I named him Clyde. ^^

The third is from when I was lower level and the gear I had made me look freakishly sexy. XD Love it.

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y197/Count_Silverwing/WoWScrnShot_030108_200044.jpg

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y197/Count_Silverwing/WoWScrnShot_022908_193025.jpg

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y197/Count_Silverwing/WoWScrnShot_121007_185601.jpg

70 At Last

So yeah, I finally leveled my priest on World of Warcraft up to level 70! *Does a dance* Turns out that hitting level 70 is very underwhelming. I was expecting a parade or a lot of confetti, but the only really cool thing was that I got my flying mount. I named him Clyde and good lord was he expensive.

After hitting level 70, my boyfriend insisted that we do an instance. We ended up doing a Shadow Labs run, which was about as much fun as catching syphilis. See, this is the first character I've leveled to 70, so everything is new here and we did the run with members from my boyfriend's guild, so they're uber experienced and this instance was disgustingly easy for them so they just rushed through it. But me? I've never done any of the level 70 instances before, and I like a little bit of order, and hey, I like to know what the Hell is going on, but I was totally out of the loop. It was just like, attack random things. Me like to crush, crush now? That type of deal.

I did get to equip some awesome looking gear when I hit 70 though. I'll post some screen shots when I get the chance, cause my priest is totally hot. XDD

Sadness

Oh the humanity. I hate life. I really do.

Why do I hate life so much? Because I'm moving! My mother has gotten this idea in her head to move in with her new boyfriend. So she's just decided to pack us up, essentially auction off all our possessions and sell our home. T_T

It's so depressing. I don't want to move, but hey, she pays for my meals and my schooling, so I kinda don't really have a choice. So yeah, I'm moving from that house that I have lived in for my whole life, almost 21 years. And we have to get rid of our cats too. This is what upsets me the most.

I've had my cat for going on 11 years and my mother has been with her new boyfriend for less than 1 year. Can we say 'Not fair'? So yeah, we're going to have to put my cat down. He's getting old, we think he may have arthritis in his front legs and no one would take him because, well, he's old and everyone wants kittens, not adult cats. It just really sucks because my cat has been my best friend since I got him as a Christmas present 11 years ago. It's really very upsetting.

But good news time, the room I get in the new house is almost three times as big as the one I currently have. And one of my aunt's might buy our old house, so that's not as bad. But still, it's going to be horrible.

I hate people and I hope they die in a couch fire.

Gah! OMFGWTFBBQ/Panda! It's been so long since I've updated! But please forgive me, I've been very busy. University has a nasty habit of doing that to you. X_X

Anyway, old news, but Christmas was pretty cool. I got a new laptop. I named her Annabelle and she makes me happy.

Also, guess who got a B on her first behavioural neuroscience exam!! That's right! My second cousin, twice removed, aunt's uncle's former roommate.

But seriously, I did!! XDD

Happy dance for me! *Dances*

Celebrate this most joyous news with me!

Ugh!!!

Ah, wow, it's been ages since I've posted an entry here. I be slacking off. Anywho, I went to another Bon Jovi concert on the 15th, and it was just s awesome as the first time I saw them. I dragged my boyfriend to the concert with me. Hee hee. He didn't enjoy it as much as I did, but he did have a great time staring at the female violinist. He thinks female musicians a incredibly sexy.

So yeah, concertness = awesomeness. Lots of energy, loud music and Jon Bon Jovi, can you honestly ask for more? Hell no. I swear, he is so gorgeous, it's just.... *Licks* Ok, that wasn't even remotely creepy. XDD

Anyway, after the concert was over I only got home a like, 12:30, so after showering and all that jazz, I got to bed at like, 1:30, and I had to get up at 6 the next day for work. But I figured no big deal, I could sleep on the train. Isn't it just ironic that my train broke down the next morning? And I was stuck in the car, WITHOUT power, and it was freezing cause people kept going outside to satisfy their nicotine cravings, and they therefore let the cold air in and the warm air out. Bastards.

So after many attempts at trying to get the train moving, from bringing in technicians, then bringing in competent technicians (They used that exact word I swear!), to some bloody idiot coming up with the idea that the train behind us could PUSH us to the next station, we finally got moving VERY slowly. Once at the station everyone had to pile into the already over-crowded train that had been stuck behind us, and then we were moving again, 2 HOURS after we had stopped.

It was a horrible week. The train broke down once and the metro broke down twice, all in the span of 1 week! I couldn't believe how unlucky I was. Gah, not to mention I had 3 midterm exams each worth at least 25% of my final grade.

I think I need a hug.

Seriously, with the exception of my research methods course (which I did in college!!!) I am enjoying all my classes. I got an A- on my first mid-term and I also got a B- on the first paper in the same class. *Dances* This makes me very happy. So yeah, that's all that's been pretty much going on lately. Halloween is coming. *Squee* I love Halloween. I miss being young enough to go out trick-or-treating. T_T

So Excited!! XDD

You know what tomorrow is? And yes, it is Wednesday, but that's not what I am excited about. Tomorrow is the Just for Laughs Fest show that my boyfriend and I have tickets for! *squee!!* I can't wait to see Colin Mocherie and Brad Sherwood. Anyway... yeah... uber awesome. I'll let you know how that goes.

I'm also leaving on vacation this Saturday. I'm going to Wildwood, New Jersey with my boyfriend and his family. They're all like "THE BEACH!!!! **Insert freak-out here**" Personally, I don't get the appeal of the beach. I mean, my boyfriend's mother doesn't even go in the water. Well, actually she does, but she doesn't swim, she walks, with like, 3 life-preservers around her, and she never gets above her waist wet. WTF man?? What is the point?? 'Sunbathing' apparently. But seriously, if I wanted to sit out in the sun and simply bake, I'd go somewhere special to bake, like Hawaii.

I can bake in the sun at home, and the only person that I'll have to see in Speedo would be myself and because I'm a girl, that's acceptable. And there are no jellyfish or sharks in my swimming pool. *Frightened squeak* Seriously, I don't understand the appeal of the beach. I mean, it's crowded, sand gets everywhere, the ocean dries out your hair, and there's a possibility that there's garbage everywhere. There's really no point if you're not going to even go in the water completely. And there's sharks and jellyfish. >.>

Honestly, I don't know if I'm looking forward to this vacation. If all we do is sit on the beach and deep fry ourselves... Yeah, doesn't sound like fun to me at all. Not that my boyfriend's family could deep fry themselves in the sun, they put on so much sunscreen I doubt that they even feel the sun. <.<

The little fox describes my mood perfectly. The day did not start off well. The incompetant idiots at the coffee shop got my order wrong. I mean, what good is a cafe mocha without the whipped cream??!?
